Terms of Service for Porchlight Directory


Effective Date: April 1, 2026

The Services described below are provided by Ecce Design Studio, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as Porchlight Directory (“Porchlight Directory,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By submitting information, purchasing services, or otherwise engaging with Porchlight Directory, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our Services.

1. Services Provided

Porchlight Directory (operated by Ecce Design Studio, LLC) provides:

  • Business/vendor listings

  • Printed directory publications (e.g., brochures and guides)

  • Downloadable digital materials (e.g., PDFs)

  • Website-based directory listings

  • Advertising and promotional opportunities

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

2. Submissions and Communications

Users, vendors, and advertisers may submit information via forms, email, or other communication methods.

By submitting information, you agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate, current, and complete

  • You have the authority to submit such information

  • We may rely on submitted information without independent verification

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete submissions.

3. Vendor Listings and Content

Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all submitted content.

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) reserves the right to:

  • Edit content for formatting, clarity, consistency, or space limitations

  • Refuse, reject, or remove listings at our discretion

Print & Publication Finality:
Listings may appear on the website, in downloadable PDFs, and in printed materials. Once content is approved for publication or distributed:

  • It cannot be modified, corrected, or withdrawn until a future edition (if applicable)

  • Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) is not responsible for errors after final approval
     

4. Proofing and Approval

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) may provide vendors and advertisers with a proof of their listing or advertisement prior to publication.

By approving a proof, or failing to respond within the provided timeframe, you:

  • Confirm that all content is accurate and approved for publication

  • Accept full responsibility for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) shall not be liable for any errors once a proof has been approved or the approval deadline has passed.
 

5. Payments, Fees, and No-Refund Policy

All fees for listings, advertising, and related services will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

By purchasing services from Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC), you agree that:

  • Payments must be made as specified, and may be required in advance of publication

  • All sales are final

No Refunds:
Due to the nature of digital and printed publications:

  • Fees are non-refundable once content creation, design, or layout has begun

  • No refunds will be issued after proof approval

  • No refunds will be issued once materials have been published, distributed, or sent to print
     

6. Advertising

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that all advertising content:

  • Is truthful and not misleading

  • Complies with all applicable laws and regulations

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC):

  • Does not guarantee performance, reach, or results

  • Reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove advertisements at its discretion
     

7. Print Deadlines and Production

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) operates on fixed publication and production schedules.

  • Submission deadlines must be followed

  • Late or incomplete submissions may be excluded from publication

  • Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) is not responsible for missed placements due to failure to meet deadlines
     

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or unlawful content

  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights

  • Use the Services for fraudulent or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the operation of the Services
     

9. Content License

By submitting any content (including listings, advertisements, logos, images, or text), you grant Porchlight Directory (operated by Ecce Design Studio, LLC) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

  • Use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute such content

  • Display content across website, downloadable materials, printed publications, and social media

  • Use content for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.
 

10. Intellectual Property

All content created by Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC), including design, layout, branding, and original materials, is owned by Porchlight Directory and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
 

11. Directory Accuracy Disclaimer

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing or advertisement.

Users acknowledge that:

  • Listings and advertisements are provided by third parties

  • Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) is not responsible for vendor services, performance, or representations


12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous or error-free operation

  • Accuracy of listings or advertisements

  • Specific results from advertising or listings
     

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the use of the Services.
 

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your submitted content

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your use of the Services
     

15. Termination

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) reserves the right to refuse service, remove content, or terminate relationships at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.
 

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
 

17. Changes to Terms

Porchlight Directory (Ecce Design Studio, LLC) may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
